Earlier this year, one of Scotland’s oldest non-league football clubs warned it may have to fold without new committee members getting involved in the running of the club. Maryhill FC was founded in 1884 and currently play in the junior West Region league division one. Famous former players include ex-Celtic and Scotland legend Tommy Burns and Jim Duffy, the ex-Celtic and Patrick Thistle player and now Dumbarton manager.
